The Organization Iasi IEEE Student Branch is composed of more than 20 students in Physics from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iasi Romania and has been created on 22nd December 2005.

The aim of this organization is to spread knowledge in magnetism and related domains and to inform the members about the progress in research and the technological developments in the field.

The IEEE Iasi Student Branch organize periodical meetings between its members and sometimes with the participation of well-known scientist professors from Romania and abroad.
