Pleased to note the success and the echo of the previous editions of the IEEE Romanian Magnetic Society Chapter Conference, IEEE-ROMSC (since 2004) and of the International Conference “Materials for Electrical Engineering”, MmdE (since 1997) and wishing that they become a solid tradition, the Faculty of Physics of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi and the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest with the collaboration of IEEE Magnetics Society Chapter of the Romania Section is organizing the third

Joint MmdE- IEEE ROMSC International Conference -Iasi 2010

bringing together the 7th Conference MmdE and the 7th Conference IEEE-ROMSC between 6th and 8 th of June 2010.

The conference will be held on 7 - 8 June 2010 at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research and IEEE Magnetics Society.

The main objectives of the Conference are:

(i) To strengthen the scientific collaboration between and the international scientific community;

(ii) To promote a regular frame for exchanging points of view and for discussions on the latest developments and scientific innovations referring to magnetic and dielectric materials for electronics and electrical engineering;

(iii) To offer to young researchers the opportunity of meeting important personalities of the scientific world.

The main topics proposed for the Joint MmdE-IEEE ROMSC 2010 Conference are:

  • Modeling, advanced characterization and applications of magnetic materials
  • Modeling, advanced characterization and applications of dielectric materials

The Joint MmdE-IEEE ROMSC 2010 Conference will consist in invited, oral and poster presentations.

The participation of young researchers is particularly encouraged. We would appreciate very much the participation of your colleagues and collaborators at our conference.

The papers presented at this conference will be published, after the usual refereeing process, in Journal of Advanced Research in Physics (JARP).
